Hillcrest Country Club’s course was designed in the mid 1920’s by famed course
architect, Bill Diddel. Diddel became famous for many “strategic school”
courses throughout the Midwest. The strategic school concept was to keep the
terrain natural looking while testing both golfers' cerebral skills and
physical skills.
Our tree-lined, bent grass tees, fairways, and greens make Hillcrest one of the
most challenging and beautiful courses in the area. The course also offers
newly designed putting and chipping greens, along with a popular driving range.
Hillcrest’s course offers a spectacular setting, along with well manicured
greens and fairways that reflect Diddel’s mastery of design.
